The Arts

Capturing the perfect moment in performance, on stage or back-stage, is an art in itself. The photographer must be omnipresent – everywhere at the same time – ready to respond with exact preparedness.

Cathy Loughran has been covering performance and arts education for young communities since the turn of the century, coming from a background in journalistic photography, having worked on many major titles around Europe – Stern Germany, The Independent News Group London, The Sunday Tribune Ireland, The New York Times, etc. Her award winning reportage work has been featured in many publications across Europe and the US since the 1980s.

She has worked with CaixaEscena, CaixaForum, Les Etoiles, Plex, Oriol Martorell, Ballet Ruso, Babbel Nights and many more.
